Forced In by Muse or my first gradient

   I have been itching to do a gradient and finally decided to do it. For the gradient I used Illamasqua Force and Muse, both really pretty colors on their own and thought they would make a great gradient pairing. I was wrong and it didn’t turn out like I wanted :(. Pretty nontheless, I just have to use more contrasting colors the next time so it will be more visible than the combination of these two.
I used Force as my base and dabbed on Muse neaby my cuticles with a kitchen sponge. If I remember correctly, I used two coats of Force, the handle of the bottle was a bit weird to hold first but once you get used to it, it’s easier. Force’s color is an electric indigo whereas Muse is a muted middle toned teal.

Eine Gradient Maniküre war schon länger auf meiner Liste von Dingen, die ich unbedingt ausprobieren wollte. Also packte mich dann irgendwann die Motivation und das kam dann raus. Illamasqua Force und Muse schienen ein tolles Paar dafür zu sein, aber es hat dann in meiner Vorstellung dann doch besser ausgeschaut, als es dann tatsächlich war.
Das nächste Mal werde ich dann Farben benutzen, die sich mehr voneinander unterscheiden. Als Grundlack habe ich Force und mit einem Küchenschwamm vorsichtig Muse bei meiner Nagelhaut draufgetupft. Wenn ich mich recht erinner, war Force schon mit zwei Schichten deckend. Der Pinselgriff war anfangs ein wenig komisch zu halten, aber man gewöhnt sich zum Glück schnell daran. Force ist ein Indogoton, Muse ein rauchiger, mittlerer Petrolton.

Barry M Watermelon, a gorgeous green jelly. I’ve worn some pretty green jellies before and this one is no exception. It came out a while ago in their Gelly line and as far as I know it is still readily available.
Watermelon was opaque with two coats and liked the brush. The consistency as nice too. Somehow I felt it was too simple on its own and I painted some dots and and accent nail with my green to gold color morphing Franken.

In letzter Zeit ist mir danach, nur grüne Lacke zu posten… vielleicht ist mir beim nächsten Mal nach was anderem ;)
Barry M Watermelon ist ein wunderhübscher grüner Jellylack. Ich hab schon wirklich schöne Grüntöne getragen und dieser hier ist genau mein Beuteschema. Er ist vor einiger Zeit zusammen mit einigen anderen Jellys rausgekommen, aber bin mir sicher, dass er noch leicht zu finden ist.
Watermelon deckte schon mit zwei Schichten und der Pinsel war auch gut. Die Konsistenz war toll aber nachdem ich die zweite Schicht lackierte, war mir danach, noch einen anderen Lack zu benutzen. Ich hab dann meinen Grün-Gold Farbwechselnden Frankenlack benutzt. Pünktchen und eine normale Schicht auf meinem Ringfinger.

 

Picture Polish Kryptonite

Posting another green you say? I think this would not have been impossible for me when I started my blog, which probably only featured blue and purple polishes back then. Now I’m all about teals, greens and a few other colors :)
Picture Polish Kryptonite is one of their blogger-collaborations and probably by far my favourite. It is a green jelly with holo particles. The formula was great, as was the brush. Kryptonite was opaque with two coats.

Und sie schreibt schon wieder über eine grünen Nagellack? Wenn mir jemand, als ich den Blog angefangen hab, sagte, dass ich mal über grünen Nagellack schreiben würde, hätt ich ihm/ihr den Vogel gezeigt ;)
Picture Polish Kryptonite ist ein Lack, der in Zusammenarbeit mit Bloggern entstand bis jetzt der einzige, den ich unbedingt haben wollte. Der Pinsel und die Konsistenz waren gut und der Lack deckte schon mit zwei Schichten.

  my camera was aweful at picking up the holo, it was more present in person/mein Kamera hat den holographischen Effekt nicht sehr gut eingefangen, er war um einiges besser in Person
