NYC West Village with a little french twist

I've got this polish for quite some time in my stash now but never felt like wearing it. Well, now I did and I was dissapointed about it. West Village is one of these dark colors which look basically black when they're not in direct sunlight. But if you look at the color in the bottle, it's a purple packed with blue and purple shimmer. The shimmer translates on the nail but only in sunlight.
The application was ok- the formula was easy to work with, the brush spread out nicely and needed 3 coats to be opaque, though you could also get away with two thicker coats.

West Village was a bit boring on its own, so I decided to pull out one of the Incoco French manicure strips in Ruby Shoes. RS is, as the name says, a ruby red glitter.

Ich hab den Lack schon einige Zeit und hatte nie richtig Lust, ihn zu tragen. Nun, jetzt hatte ich Lust drauf und ich war enttäuscht. West Village is einer der dunklen Farben, die außerhalb des Sonnenlichts schwarz sind.  Wenn man sich die Farbe in der Flasche anschaut, ist es ein sehr dunkles Lila mit sehr feinem blauen und lilanen Shimmer. Der ist zwar auf dem Nagel zu sehen, aber auch nur im Sonnenlicht. 
Der Auftrag war ganz ok, die Konsistenz war einfach zum lackieren und der Pinsel hat sich auch schön ausgefächert. Er ist mit drei dünnen oder zwei dicken Schichten deckend. 


West Village war alleine recht fad, also hab ich den Incoco French Manicure Strip in Ruby Shoes noch draufgetan. RS, ist, wie der Name schon sagt, ein rubinroter Glitzer.

 On top of that I also decided to add a flaky topcoat- also as a french manicure version. Hits Lambada is a gorgeous flaky nail polish where each flakie has a different color. And some of them even shift to different colors!
The "main" colors are: orange, yellow, green and blue at some angles. The formula was ok, a bit on the thick side but still managable. I only used one coat.

Da die Maniküre mir noch immer nicht ganz gefiel, hab ich noch einen Flaky-Überlack als French-Version drübergepinselt. Hits Lambada ist ein traumhafter Flaky-Nagellack, wo jede einzelne "Schuppe" eine andere Farbe hat. Und manche von denen sind sogar duo-chrome!
Die "Haupt"-farben sind: orange, gelb, grün und in manchen Winkeln sieht man auch blau durchblitzen. Die Konsistenz ist ganz in Ordnung, ein bisschen zu dickflüssig, aber immer noch lackierbar. Ich hab nur eine Schicht benutzt.
