Jessica Glitterati

When I first saw the promo pictures of the Glamourama collection, there were quite a few I wanted. Now seeing a few of them in person, I’m a bit disappointed.
Thanks to my dear friend Caroline I’m able to swatch them and save some money. Glitterati is a gorgeous shade in the bottle but sadly, the multichrome glitter doesn’t translate well on the nail. In the bottle it shifts from an pumpkin orange, light brown, yellow, green and hints of teal. The glitter itself is quite sparse, you probably need more than three coats till they are opaque on its own.
I used one coat over a black creme (Wet’n’Wild Black Creme) and another thing that I liked is that they are not “bumpy” glitters, meaning you’ll only need a coat of topcoat and you will have a smooth finish.

Als ich die Promobilder von der Glamourama Kollektion von Jessica gesehn hab, fand ich schon ein paar wirklich toll. Nachdem ich einige davon aber jetzt selber sehen konnte, war ich schon enttäuscht.
Dank der lieben Caroline durfte ich sie mir zum swatchen ausborgen und Geld sparen, denn danach hatte ich kein “habenwollen”-Gefühl :). Glitterati ist ein wirklich toller Lack in der Flasche, aber leider sieht man den Farbwechsel nicht mehr sichtbar auf den Nägeln. In der Flasche sieht man den tollen Farbwechsel von orange, hellbraun, geld, grün und auch teilweise petrol. Der Glitzer ist nicht so vollgepackt und bräuchte mehr als drei Schichten, bis er deckt.
Ich hab’ auf den Bildern eine Schicht unter einem schwarzen Lack(Wet’n’Wild Black Creme) benutzt. Was mir aber durchaus positiv aufgefallen ist, dass die Glitzerlacke aus der Kollektion nach einer Schicht Überlack schon glatt sind, sprich, man hat nicht den “Schmirgelpapier”-Effekt auf den Nägeln.

Just for fun I layered  a coat of Platinum Wishes(from the same collection) over Glitterati- I really liked how it turned out :)
Zum Spaß hab ich dann noch eine Schicht Platinum Wishes (aus der gleichen Kollektion) über Glitterati gepinselt- ich find, es schaut toll aus :)
