some new BIPA displays including one with duochromes

A couple days ago I browsed through my facebook feed and saw that the local drugstore BIPA has a giveaway and there was a little picture of the polishes they were giving away. The polishes were duochrome and were already in their online shop (sadly  they only ship to Austria).
Fast forward a few days later, I found the display of the polishes and I couldn't resist getting some. There is even a Chanel Peridot dupe (Mirela from coral and mauve did a comparison*) called "Green Changer". The best part? they're only 1,99€(~2,5U$) each!

Let's take a look at the display, shall we?

*those of you who don't understand what the google translator translated: it [green changer] is a tad warmer than Peridot but you cannot see the difference, as you can see on the nail swatch/comparison.

from left to right/von rechts nach links:
metallic violet, metallic blue, metallic diamonds, metallic pearl, metallic matt(a holo!), metallic holorgam, purple green, green changer, gold changer and bronze changer

While I was at the BIPA drugstore, I saw another LE display by their other store brand make up line- b.pretty. The colors didn't appeal to me but nonetheless I took a picture of the display.

B.Pretty Deep Sea Pearl

B.Pretty is a local drugstore brand who came out with some really nice colors lately. This one is amongst them. Deep Sea Pearl is a middle toned blue with a very light purple shimmer/duochrome which sadly doesn't show up on the nails. It needs two coats to be opaque and I didn't had any problems with the application.
The wear was better (3 days) than the first time I wore a polish by b.pretty.

There's a Jungle in that Enchanted Forest

Who would've thought a local drug store would release such stunning green? b.pretty recently came out with a bunch of new shades for spring and Jungle is amongst them. One of my readers, Jenna asked if I could swatch a few of those so here they are :)
And here's a picture of the display (you can click on the picture)

Jungle has a vibe of Nars' Zulu but I sadly don't have that to compare it with. Altough from what I can compare from the swatches I've seen, it looks like Zulu is more of a jelly, is a bit darker and needs more coats to be opaque whereas Jungle is a dark emerald green but not too dark that it's black in low lightning.
Back to the polishes: Orly's Enchanted forest is- as the name implides- a forest green with a grey undertone that is only more visible in some lights/ direct sunlight.

I painted two coats each of both polishes and didn't had any problems with either of them.

NOTD: Frankenpolish - Write with It!

Hey there :)

Today's post is about another Frankenpolish I made. It's called Write with it! and the colour itseld reminds be of Ink.
The pictures are a bit lighter than the colour actually is and I honestly don't remember what I put in there. I'm pretty sure I took Essence Show your feet polish in 02 Deep Blue Sea and b.pretty in Silver stars- I don't know what the rest of the polishes are/were. The actual colour is a really dark blurple- but more a blue than a purple. It was opaque in 2 coats.

There was also no sunlight when I took the pictures so I'm going to show you some with flash and some without.

up: I think this picture would do the colour itself justice.
below: a pic with flash, it shows the wonderful little holographic glitter in it

here a blurry pic to show you the holographic glitter :)
