KB Shimmer Oh Splat!

Or how this simple nail polish won my heart over.
Yup, you’ve read right, I don’t think I’ve had a nail polish recently that I’ve enjoyed so much wearing it, it lifts my mood. I know there are a few others *cough* holos*cough* that mesmerize me but Oh Splat has won my heart over like no other polish has.
Anyway, Oh Splat is a polish by the indie nail polish company KB Shimmer. It is a white jelly-ish creme with multi-colored glitter in 4 (or maybe more) different sizes. What I like is that the base color isn’t too opaque so you can’t see the glitter.
I used two coats of Oh Splat and it was already opaque. The formula was good and I used the usual dabbing technique to get enough glitter on my nail for my taste.
My Oh Splat! was bought at Harlow and Co., she ships internationally but if you’re in the US, you can order from KB Shimmer directly.

Isadora Crackle Polishes- Part 2

Hey there :)

You'd probably know from this post, that I was really thrilled that we are finally getting Crackle polishes here. And today I found them- I felt like I stuck gold or something similar  :P
So, these are the ones I got:
While I was at the store, I couldn't resist to use the tester they had and I left with two these two nails painted with Yellow Crew (pointer) and Spraycan Blue (thumb). Sadly, the blue one darkened on the nail or it may be my base color, I need to experiment with them.

They were 8,9€ each (ok-ish prices, middle price range).

Vintage Theme

Hey there

Some of you might have seen that I've submited an entry over at Polish Hoarder's Blog- she's having weekly challenges and the first one had a Vintage Theme. It was really fun to come up with a this manicure and doing it- I'd definitly participate in her challenges again.

It was pouring outside and today it started raining again -.-. Oh well, I wish I could change the weather....
The polishes I used:
  • (Base) P2 - Dangerous
  • (Sponging) American Appearel - Peacock
  • (Sponging) Essence - Groovy
  • (Sponging) Konad Princess Polish in White mixed with Dangerous
Here are the pics:
(It was even worse- the pics don't show it that well ;) )
