American Appearel Mount Royal and a Sinful Nail Junkie

Hey there :)

American Appearel came out with nail polishes quite a while ago and I teased you before with what I've bought. So now I finally painted Mount Royal on my nails. Most (all?) AA polishes are opaque with one coat and this one isn't a exception. I didn't had any problems with either the formula or the brush- both were great.
Mount Royal  is a blurple creme and it's a shame that my camera sucks at picturing purples, teals,...

This color alone was a bit too simple for my taste, so I picked up Sinful Colors Nail Junkie which I got from my awesome swap with Jackie from Candy Coated Tips.Voilà, a great combination- I bet it'll look as mesmerizing on toes too ;)

Vintage Theme

Hey there

Some of you might have seen that I've submited an entry over at Polish Hoarder's Blog- she's having weekly challenges and the first one had a Vintage Theme. It was really fun to come up with a this manicure and doing it- I'd definitly participate in her challenges again.

It was pouring outside and today it started raining again -.-. Oh well, I wish I could change the weather....
The polishes I used:

• (Base) P2 - Dangerous
• (Sponging) American Appearel - Peacock 
• (Sponging) Essence - Groovy
• (Sponging) Konad Princess Polish in White mixed with Dangerous

I was drooling over Andreas post from Black Nail polish and Lipgloss and thought to share these bottle pics with you :)

(I've added the AA and Orly polish to let you know how tall they approx. are)
from left to right: AA Peacock, Turquise Kitty (new, seems to be form their summer LE), a franken(originally a blue creme/pastell blue), Really Black, Wicked Purple and Orly's Prisma Gloss Silver.

I've bought Really Black and Wicked Purple because of the cute bottles ^^
