Essie She’s Pampered

Essie She’s Pampered from the upcoming Leading Lady limited edition. This collection will be released in November and I’m anxiously waiting to see Butler Please and Leading Lady in person.
She’s Pampered is a scarlet red jelly. When I first opened the package, I was thinking it was “just another red” but after swatching it, I was surprised how much I liked it. The opacity is great- you’ll only need one coat and the dry time was good too. The only thing which bothered me a bit was the removal- you’ll end up with red “smurf” hands if you’re rubbing back and forth while removing it. So you’ll have to be a bit patient, let the cottonpad sit for a while and remove it all with one swipe to avoid this :)
The Leading Lady Collection will be available in November, the Austrian MRSP/RRP is €9,90 and will be available at BIPA, Müller, DM and Douglas stores.

Essie She’s Pampered ist einer der sechs Nagellacke aus der limitierten Leading Lady Kollektion. L’Oréal Österreich war so freundlich, mir einen Nagellack aus der Kollektion zu schicken. Die Kollektion wird im November erscheinen und ich möchte mir unbedingt Butler Please und Leading Lady vorher anschauen, bevor ich sie mir kaufe.
She’s Pampered ist ein scharlachroter Jellylack. Der erste Eindruck vom Lack war “ein weiterer 0815 Rotton”, aber nachdem ich ihn für die Bilder lackiert habe, war ich überrascht, wie sehr ich ihn mochte. Die Deckkraft ist unschlagbar, er war schon mit nur einer Schicht deckend und die Trockenzeit war auch gut. Das einzige, was mich störte, war, dass er beim ablackieren die Nagelhaut bzw. die Haut um den Nagel rot einfärbte. Also sollte man beim ablackieren den Entferner ein wenig länger drauf lassen und alles mit einem Wisch wegzuwischen.
Die Leading Lady Kollektion wird es ab November bei BIPA, Dm, Müller und Douglas mit einen UVP von €9,90 in Österreich geben.

A Fairytale in Glastonbury

Last year, when I was in Canada during the summer, I came across the very first Gosh counter before it arrived here in Austria a few weeks before I came back .
They (Shoppers Drug Mart) had the (LE) Displays with the Fall Magic Forest 2011 Collection and the only nail polish which I bought was Fairytale. The LE was released here in Austria too, but I can't say that I bought it in Toronto, right? ;)
Anyway, Fairytale is a gorgeous dark teal creme-jelly hybrid. The formula was a tad thick and you need two coats till it is opaque.
As an accent nail I added Nails Inc. Glastonbury on my ring finger. Kaz from Pretty Random described it as "Mardi Gras in a bottle" and I agree with her!
It has little green, round glitter, purple and gold hex-glitter. The application was good and no issues with the brush either. Sadly, Glastonbury is discontinued and no etailer carries it anymore :(


Als ich letzten Sommer in Kanada war, hatte ich zum ersten Mal die Gelegenheit, eine Goshtheke zu betrachten, bevor sie dann auch nach Österreich kam, kurz bevor ich wieder zurück kam.
Sie hatten dort (im Shoppers Drug Mart) hatte auch Aufsteller mit limitierten Editionen- u.a. die Fall Magic Forest 2011 Kollektion. Der einzige Nagellack, der mir gefiel, war Fairytale. Die LE wurde dann auch hier verkauft, aber dann kann ich nicht sagen, dass ich ihn aus Toronto hab, oder? ;)
Fairytale is ein wunderschlner dunkler Petrolton und ein Creme-Jelly Hybrid. Die Konsistenz des Lackes war einen Tick zu dickflüssig und man braucht zwei Schichten, bis er deckt.
Um ein bisschen Abwechslung einzubringen, habe ich noch meinen Ringfinger mit Nails In. Glastonbury bepinselt. Kaz von Pretty Random hat ihn als "Mardi Gras* in der Flasche" bezeichnet und es trifft es ganz gut.
Der Lack hat kleinen runden, grünen Glitzer, lilanen und goldenen Hexglitzer. Der Auftrag war gut und hatte auch keine Probleme mit dem Pinsel. Das einzige Manko ist, dass der Lack schon aufgelassen wurde und kein (Internet)Shop ihn mehr führt :(


*Mardi Gras ist eine Bezeichnung für die Faschingszeit in den USA, u.a. in New Orleans mit den Farben Grün, Gold und Lila gefeiert wird.

I have to say that a part of me bought Glastonbury just because of this ;) /Ich muss zugeben, dass ein Teil von mir den Lack nur wegen dem hier gekauft hat ;)

New display pictures and some "display news" (long post)

Even tough the "season" of the new displays is over, I've got some new limited editions and some other "display news" for you.

First up, the Misslyn Peacock Collection. The collection consists of a bronzener and some duochrome nail polishes and it also has the Chanel Peridot Dupe which I already showed you here. Even tough I like duochromes, the colors didn't appeal to me and I didn't buy any.


Obwohl die "Saison" der Sortimentsumstellungen schon vorüber ist, stelele ich euch heute ein paar neue Theken und limitierte Editionen vor. 


Als erstes, die Peacock Collection von Misslyn. Die Kollektion besteht aus einem Bronzener und einigen Nagellacken mit duochrome Effekt und hat auch den Chanel Peridot Dupe im Aufsteller, den ich euch schon hier vorgestellt habe. Obwohl ich duochrome Lacke mag, waren die Farben nicht so meins und habe auch nichts gekauft.

I spottet a new limited edition by Alessandro. Again, another unannounced display, without much information about it. After a little hint from a beauty forum I saw that this display is consisting of scented nail polishes and coordinating hand cremes with matching scents. The colors/hand cremes didn't appeal to me so I didn't buy anything. I think they retail for ~10€(~13U$) each (which might vary from the stores that carry them).


Ich hab eine neue Alessandro LE beim Douglas entdeckt. Schon wieder eine "unangekündigte" limitierte Edition, wo es nicht viel Informationen darüber gibt. Nach einem Hinweis von einem Beautyforum hab ich herausgefunden, dass die Aufsteller Duftnagellacke mit den darauf abgestimmten Handcremen gibt. Die Farben/Handcremes waren nicht ganz mein Beuteschema und hab davon nichts gekauft. Ich glaube, dass die Lacke und Cremes je ca. 10€ kosten, wobei es viellleicht auch leichte Preisunterschiede bei verschiedenen Läden geben könnte.

 While I was at the Müller drugstore, I noticed that they put out an Essie display. The display has some core colors, a few treatments and the 2012 spring collection, Navigate Her. On the top "shelf" they had the spring collection in it. The nail polishes were 8,99€ and the spring collection was 9,99€ each. They didn't had a price tag for the treatments, so I'm not sure how much they cost.

 Als ich beim Müller war, hab ich auch ein Essie-Aufsteller entdeckt. Der Aufsteller hat einige Lacke aus dem Standardsortiment, ein paar Pflege,-Unter,- und Überlacke und die aktuelle Frühlingskollektion, Nagivate Her. Ganz oben sind die Lacke der Navigate Her Kollektion. Die Nagellacke kosten je 8,99€, wobei die Frühlingskollektion 9,99€ kostet. Bei den Pflegelacken gab es leider kein Preisschild, also weiß ich leider nicht, wieviel sie kosten.

And now, the most exciting part for me, another find at the Müller drugstore: a display of Butter London nail polishes!
Apart from the excitement that I can finally take a closer look at the polishes, the only thing is the price tag: 17,95€, which is around 24 U$.
The display has some core colors, including the spring collection, their nail polish remover and an emery board.




Nun, eine Neuigkeit, über die ich mich wirklich gefreut habe, als ich beim Müller "drübergestolpert" bin: ein Aufsteller mit Butter London Nagellacken!
Nun kann ich mir die Nagellacke endlich auch vorher anschauen, bevor ich sie mir dann im Internet bestelle und muss nicht "blind" bestellen. Der Nachteil daran ist, dass sie 17,95€ kosten :/
 Der Aufsteller hatte einige Lacke aus dem Standardsoritment, inklusive der Frühlingskollektion, dem Nagellackentferner und einer Nagelfeile.

And now some new things which arrived in the past few weeks: the Austrian drugstore chain, BIPA now carries Essie nail polishes. We (bloggers) first thought the nail polishes were going to be put in their regular displays but now we got an extra stand-alone display in most stores. The nail polishes retail for 9,99€(~13U$) and the treatments are 10,99€(~14,5U$) each.They are also available online at their online shop (they only ship within Austria tough).

Nun ein paar Neuigkeiten: die österreichische Drogeriekette BIPA hat nun auch Essie Nagellacke. Wir (Bloggerinnen dachten zuerst, dass die Nagellacke ins normale Regal neben den anderen Kosmetikmarken eingeräumt werden aber es stellte sich herraus, dass es ein extra Regal für die Nagellacke ist. Die Nagellacke kosten je 9,99€ und die Pflegelacke je 10,99€. Die Nagellacke gibt es auch im Online-Shop (sie liefern aber nur innerhalb Österreichs)

After Bourjois left our drugstores, BIPA made a big "secret" about what's to come. The secret wasn't that overwhelming and something that is already available at other drugstore chains here: Manhattan. Anyway, the price range is around the DM drugstore.

Nachdem Bourjois beim BIPA aufgelassen wurde, machte BIPA ganz geheimnisvoll, was wohl als nächstes kommen würde. Das Geheimnis war nicht ganz so überwältigend und ist im Endeffekt eine Marke, die es schon in anderen Drogeriemärkten gibt: Manhattan. Preislich gesehn, ist es auf etwa dem Niveau vom DM, also ein wenig teurer als der Müller.

While I spottet the Manhattan display, I also noticed that they were redoing a few other displays. The big "change" was, that they were installing a place for the limited edition displays. Here's a picture of the new displays I snagged:

I found a few displays with limited editions while I was searching for the new Catrice LE (Million Styles). While I didn't find it, I did find a few others.

I found another Alessandro display. The limited edition is called Metallic Crash. It's another crackle collection, this time with "metallic crackles". A set contains a white base, a crackle polish and a top coat- each bottle contains 5ml and retails for 14.95€ (at the Müller store).
This is the third LE display from Alessandro for this month and somehow I'm not liking it. So many limited editions in such a short time are overwhelming and if you would really like to buy something from it, you'd have to stalk your stores in order to get it.

Ich hab wieder ein paar Aufsteller von limitierten Editionen gefunden, als ich auf der Suche nach der neuen LE von Catrice (Million Styles) war. Diese hab ich leider nicht gefunden, aber dafür ein paar andere Aufsteller, die euch interessieren könnten.

Im Müller bin ich über einen weiteren Alessandro Aufsteller gestolpert. Es ist eine weitere Kollektion mit Crackle-Lacken, dieses mal sind es welche mit einem metallic-Finish. Ein Set besteht aus einem weißen Unterlack, einem Crackle-Lack und einem Überlack mit je 5ml und kostet jeweils 14,95€ beim Müller (Preise könnten ggf. in anderen Läden höher/niedriger sein).
Das ist nun die dritte limitierte Edition von Alessandro für diesen Monat und finde, dass es zu viel des Guten ist. So viele LEs in einer kurzen Zeit sind überwältigend und wenn man wirklich etwas von einer davon kaufen will, muss man immer wieder nachschauen, ob es sie schon gibt, was auf die Dauer wirklich ermüdend wird.

Next up is a brand I mostly overlook because their products often don't appeal to me when I look at their display. They do have a few nice things but not that special that I would buy them right away.
Anyway, Misslyn released a new limited edition called Peacock and apparently the SA put some of the polishes into the wrong display. The polishes caught my eye (or shall I say Good Lack, Nails eyes, when we were at the Müller drugstore together) and snapped a picture of the display without realizing that the polishes were put into the wrong display.
In the display is a Chanel Peridot dupe with the number 722 called Chameleon, more on that, later on.
Each nail polish retails for 4,95€ at the Müller drugstore.

Als nächstes eine Marke, wo ich die meiste Zeit meist nur vorbei gehe, weil die Produkte, die sie anbieten, mich meist nicht ansprechen, wenn bei der Theke vorbei gehe. Es gibt zwar ein paar Sachen, die nett ausschauen, aber nichts weltbewegendes oder was ich unbedingt kaufen muss.
Nunja, Misslyn hat vor kurzem die limitierte Edition namens Peacock rausgebracht und es scheint so, als hätte die Verkäuferin/der Verkäufer die Nagellacke ins falsche Display reingetan. Die Nagellacke fielen mir Good Lack, Nail gleich auf, als wir zusammen beim Müller waren und hab ohne zu überlegen ein Bild vom Aufsteller gemacht.
Im Aufsteller gibt es einen Chanel Peridot Dupe mit der Nummer 722 und heißt Chameleon, aber mehr dazu später im Beitrag. 
Die Lacke kosten je 4,95€ beim Müller.

And the last display picture in this post is a new limited edition by Artdeco called Magic Shine. It contains ten nail polishes and four lipsticks.The colors seemed quite boring to me as I'm not in their main target group. The only intresting thing from there are two duochrome polishes and one of them is really close to the infamous Chanel Peridot.
Each nail polish retails for 7,39€ and the lip sticks are 13,49€ at the Müller drugstore. 


Das letzte Aufsteller-Bild im Post ist die neue LE von Artdeco mit dem Namen Magic Shine. Es sind zehn Nagellacke und vier Lippenstifte drinnen enthalten. Die Farben sind meiner Meinung nach ziemlich langweilig, da ich nicht die richtige Zielgruppe dafür bin. Das einzige, was ich interessant fand, waren zwei duochrome Lacke und einer ist dem Chanel Peridot zum verwechseln ähnlich. 
Ein Nagellack kostet 7,39€ und die Lippenstifte je 13,49€ beim Müller.

As I hinted earlier, there seem to be a lot of Peridot dupes/dupe-ish colors and I was able to compare (most of) the bottles next to each other.


Falls ihr es bis hierher geschaft habts, wow ^^.
Wie ich vorhin schon kurz drauf angespielt habe, scheint es in letzter Zeit sehr viele Lacke zu geben, die große Ähnlichkeit mit dem sagenumwobenen Peridot von Chanel haben. Ich hab die meisten davon in den Flaschen nebeneinander abfotografiert, um zu schauen, wie ähnlich sie sich sind.

As you can see, the base color in Artdeco #226 is more copper-y compared to Artdeco #227.

Wie ihr sehen könnts, ist die Grundfarbe vom 266 wärmer als die von 227. 

In the picture below, you can see that I  compared 227 with Catrice's Genius in a Bottle(GiaB). Like Artdeco #226, the base color in GiaB is warmer than #227.

Im unteren Bild seht ihr 227 im Vergleich mit Genius in a Bottle(GiaB) von Catrice. GiaB ist, wie Artdeco Nummer 226, im Grundton wärmer als 227.

And a little group shot- from left to right: Catrice GiaB, Artdeco 227, Chanel Peridot, Artdeco 226. You can see that Artdeco 227 is the closest to Peridot whereas the other two aren't close to "the original".

And last but not least, a group show with Misslyn #722 Chameleon, Chanel Peridot and Artdeco #227, featuring Good Lack, Nail's Hand ;).
This picture is not the best but I could not tell a difference between the three of them. It might look like that Artdeco #227 is a tad darker in the bottle but in person I wasn't able to spot a difference. The different bottle shapes might make it harder to compare as some have a thicker/thinner glass or are more rounded so you can see the duochrome better.

Und zu guter Letzt, ein Bild mit Misslyn 772 Chameleon, Chanel Peridot und Artdeco 227, alle drei in der Hand von Good Lack, Nail. 
Das Bild ist zwar nicht das beste, aber ich konnte bei den drei in Wirklichkeit keinen Unterschied erkennen. Es schaut auf den Bildern so aus, als wäre der Artdeco einen Tick dünkler in der Flasche, nur war der in Wirklichkeit nicht sichtbar. Der Untschied der verschiedenen Flaschen und die Form machts ein wenig schwierig, wirklich 1:1 zu wissen, ob sie Dupes sind oder nicht.

A little peek into "my" drugstores...

I stumbled upon a few drugstore displays here recently and wanted to share them with you.

First up, two Alessandro displays. The first one (on the left) is a LE display called "Track Me". I didn't found many information of it. Tough, I have to admit, Alessandro is a brand, which is not covered that well on the blogs I read.
Anyway, most of the polishes seemed quite boring but there is a duochrome in there called Clubbing Reflection, which looked quite intresting for duochrome-lovers ;). It shifts from light green to a purple-ish copper/brown (a hint of the Chanel Paradoxal purple). All of the bottles are mini-sized, which means they only contain 5ml (0,18 fl. oz.) each and cost 4,95€ at the Müller Store.
Gejba from Parokeets has some swatches of a few shades from the LE if you're intrested :).

The display on the right is a display full of crackle polishes. It's great to see a display full with crackle polishes but sorry, you're a really late to the party, now that most people aren't looking for them anymore ( at least I am!).
Some of colors are something we have seen before from other brands- black and white. The other, more unusuall colors were light brown, pink, orange and warm red tone.
It looks like they did two versions of crackles if you take a closer look at the bottles. As far as I know, there are no indications on the display itself that these are part of an limited addition but it looks like they are as I haven't spotted them in their perm display.
These are full-sized bottles (at least for european standards), which means they contain 10ml. One bottles retails for ~11,95€ at the Müller Store.

Ich hab wieder einige Aufsteller gefunden und wollte sie euch nicht vorenthalten.


Als erstes, zwei Aufsteller von Alessandro. Das erste (links im Bild) ist eine LE mit dem Namen "Track Me". Ich hab davon noch nicht viel gelesen, was vielleicht daran liegt, dass Alessandro eher eine Marke ist, von der ich nicht sehr viel auf anderen Blogs lese.
Die meisten Lacke sahen recht langweilig aus, aber es gibt einen duochrome Lack, "Clubbing Reflection". Er schaut echt toll aus und wenn man duochrome Lacke toll findet, würde dieser sicherlich ein neues zu Hause finden ;). Die Farbe changiert Hellgrün und einem Kupferton/lila angehauchten Braun(erinnert mich sehr sehr schwach an den Chanel Paradoxal-Ton). Alle Nagellacke sind in kleinen 5ml Flaschen und kosten je 4,95€ (ich hab den Aufsteller beim Müller entdeckt, könnte sein, dass sie in anderen Läden andere Preise haben).

Das Display rechts ist ein Aufsteller voller Crackle Lacken. Es ist zwar schön, dass sie einen Aufsteller voller Crackle Lacken widmen, aber da sind sie ja schon ein bisschen spät dran. Ich hab dem Aufsteller keine große Beachtung geschenkt, weil ich solche Lacke schon nicht mehr sehen kann, weil die ganze "Flut/Hype" solcher Lacke  meiner Meinung nach ja schon längst vorbei ist.
Es sind ein paar Farben dabei, die es schon (teilweise) günstiger von anderen Firmen gibt wie Schwarz und Weiß. Die anderen waren recht "außergewöhnlich"- Hellbraun, Rosa und ein warmer Rotton.
Es schaut so aus, als hätten sie zwei Versionen der Crackle Lacke gemacht, wenn man sich den Stiehl der Flasche näher anschaut. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es eine limierte Edition ist, aber es schaut dannach aus, weil ich sie noch nicht im Regal des permanenten Sortiments gesehen habe.
Die Lacke sind in den großen, 10ml großen Flaschen abgefüllt und kosten jeweils ~11,95€ beim Müller.

A couple days ago I browsed through my facebook feed and saw that the local drugstore BIPA has a giveaway and there was a little picture of the polishes they were giving away. The polishes were duochrome and were already in their online shop (sadly  they only ship to Austria).
Fast forward a few days later, I found the display of the polishes and I couldn't resist getting some. There is even a Chanel Peridot dupe (Mirela from coral and mauve did a comparison*) called "Green Changer". The best part? they're only 1,99€(~2,5U$) each!

Let's take a look at the display, shall we?

*those of you who don't understand what the google translator translated: it [green changer] is a tad warmer than Peridot but you cannot see the difference, as you can see on the nail swatch/comparison.

Vor ein paar Tagen als ich bei Facebook gerade den "Newsfeed" durchgeschaut hab, sah ich,d ass der BIPA ein Gewinnspiel zur neuen LE von Look by BIPA veranstaltet. Die Nagellacke sahen auf den Bildern duochrome aus und waren schon im Online-Shop erhältlich.
Am Freitag hab ich dann den Aufsteller gesehn und konnte nicht anders, als ein paar mitzunehmen. Es gibt sogar einen Chanel Peridot dupe namens Green Changer (Mirela von coral and mauve hat Vergleichsswatches). Das beste daran ist, dass sie nur 1,99€ kosten!

While I was at the BIPA drugstore, I saw another LE display by their other store brand make up line- b.pretty. The colors didn't appeal to me but nonetheless I took a picture of the display.

Während ich beim BIPA war, hab ich noch eine weitere LE von der BIPA Eigenmarke, b.pretty, gesehn. Die Farben waren nicht so aufregend und ich hab nichts davon mitgenommen.

Bye bye Bourjois

Uhm... yeah- the post title says it all. BIPA drugstore is selling all the Bourjois products with a -50% discount because it looks like they are discontinuing it in here in Austria. It is quite sad- tough I rarely bought anything from them (mostly just their polishes). I'm going to miss them because their Healthy Mix Serum Foundation is quite good (I use no. 52 Vanilla).

Äh, ja, der Titel dieses Beitrags sagt ja schon, um was es heute geht. Die BIPA Drogerie verkauft alle Bourjois Produkte um -50%, da sie hier in Österreich komplett ausgelassen wird. Es ist schon ein bisschen traurig, obwohl ich selten etwas gekauft habe (und wenn, dann nur die Nagellacke). Ich werd die Marke hier vermussen, weil die Healthy Mix Serum Foundation ziemlich gut ist (ich benutz die Nummer 52 Vanilla).

Anyway- here's another LE I stumbled upon at a BIPA which isn't that frequened and the display was still full with the Flower Perfection Foundation. Not sure how good these are but the shades start with no. 52 and it has a loose powder.

Bei einem BIPA bin ich über diesen Aufsteller mit den Bourjois Flower Foundation gestolpert. Ich bin mir nicht wie gut sie sind bzw. wie lange sie es schon gibt, da es ein BIPA war, wo eher selten Menschen hingehen. Die Foundation fängt mit dem Ton nummer 52 an.

Some new drugstore finds... [part 3]

I never thought there was gonna be a part three but here are some displays I found today:

Make Up Factory is a brand where I rarely buy something. In my opinion the colors are quite "safe" (read available somewhere else and cheaper).  Their prices are between the high-end and "cheap" drug-store cosmetic range. It's a store brand make-up line (like the BIPA has b.pretty, DM has S-He Stylezone, and so on). I just stumbled upon this LE today- not sure when it was actually released (no press material to bloggers) but it looks like a few people aleady bought something and the bodyglitter thingy is all over the display. There is  a Mac Lightscape dupe which looks a lot like the old release (not the new one, which was just released here). I might've bought it but the price (22€ which is ~29U$)

Make Up Factory ist eine der Marken, wo ich wirklich selten etwas kaufe. Meiner Meinung nach sind die Farben recht durchschnittlich- nichts, was ich auch billiger von einer anderen Firma bekommen könnte. Die Preise sind im mittleren Segment.
Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wann genau die LE erschienen ist, aber es scheinen schon ein paar Sachen beim Aufsteller zu fehlen. Es gibt auch einen Mac Lightscape dupe, der wie die ältere Version ausschaut (nicht wie die, die kürzlich rausgekommen ist). Ich hätte es mir warscheinlich gekauft, nur war der Preis von 22€ schon happig.

Next up, MNY's I am a Concrete Rocker LE- I'm quite on the fence about this one[how I feel about it]. It's not the product itself, but rather the PR of the austrian DM facebook site. A few weeks ago I asked them if this LE was going to be released in Austria and they said it's not going to be released. Guess what I stumbled upon- yeah, the I am a Concrete Rocker LE.
Nevertheless I only got the red lipstick, the other things didn't appeal to me.

Als nächstes die MNY I am a Concrete Rocker LE- ich bin mimr nicht sicher, was ich davon halten soll. Es sind ja nicht die Produkte an sich, eher wie die PR-Abteilung der österreichischen DM Facebook Seite damit umging. Ich hab nämlich vor ein paar Wochen dort nachgefragt, ob es diese LE auch nach Österreich schafft, aber die Antwort bekommen, dass es sie hier nicht geben wird. Und ratet mal, was ich dann gesehn hab- die I am a Concrete Rocker LE. 
Nichtsdestotrotz hab ich den roten Lippenstift mitgenommen, die anderen Sachen fand ich nicht so toll.

At a BIPA drugstore I found these displays of their make up store-brand. The first one (b.pretty) is quite old (from the summer and it's still quite untouched) but I've never seen the second one. Anyway, here they are:

Beim Bipa hab ich diese zwei Aufsteller von den Eigenmarken gefunden. Das erste Bild (b.pretty) ist schon ziemlich alt (noch vom Sommer, aber es ist noch fast unangetastet) aber ich hab das zweite noch nie gesehn. Nunja, hier die Bilder:

And I found a display of the brand Kiss. I've seen the brand at some random BIPA drugstores but never really saw a LE-display of it.

Im Bipa hab ich noch diesen Aufsteller von der Firma Kiss gesehn. Ich hab die Sachen schon in einigen Bipas gesehn, aber noch nie so einen Aufsteller.

And lastly, two new to me displays from [the brand] Basic at the Schlecker drugstore. I've wrote about that drugstore before in my post about Fairwind Teal.
From the "Travel Color" display I only got the teal-ish polish and the second display was rather boring.

And a bonus picture: this is a mouse which you can dye your hair but the packaging gave me a "wtf"-moment. (or as Jeanette said: Frappucino [for your hair] :o )

Some new drugstore finds... [part 2]

I didn't wanted to overwhelm you with pictures in my last posting, so here's the second part of my latest drugstore finds :)

S-He (brand store of the DM drugstore) came out with some new nail treatments. I guess this is their take of the "Essence's Better than Gel Nails System" (though the one by Essence has some fake nail tips which you glue on. Their top coat from the line is a fast dry topcoat and quite hyped in my opinion).

As far as I know, these are not part of a limited Edition

Ich wollte euch beim letzten Beitrag nicht mit Bildern überwältigen, also gehts jetzt mit Teil zwei los :)

S-He (Eigenmarke von DM, leider nicht in Deutschland erhältlich) hat ein paar neue Sachen im Bereich der Nagelpflege rausgebracht (sogar so neu, dass sie anscheinend nicht auf der Homepage angekündigt/aufgelistet sind). Ich vermute mal, dass es deren Interpretation des (beliebten?) System vom "Better than Gel Nails" von Essence ist. Da hat ja Essence noch falsche Nagelweißspitzen dabei, die man sich mit Nagelkleber draufklebt. Es gibt ja auch noch den Überlack aus der Serie, der meine Meinung nach ein wenig gehypt wird). 

Soweit ich weiß, sind diese Sachen nicht limitiert.

I wonder what the purpose of the bi-phase oil is...
The nail cleaner sounds quite intresting, I think it might be something similar to OPI's Bond Aid/Chip Skip, Orly's Primetime*, etc.- something that dehydrates the nail so the basecoat adheres better and the manicure lasts longer. If you use something like this regularly, I'd strongly suggest, you moisturise your nails after your manicre!

Ich frag mich eigentlich, was man mit dem Bi-Phase Oil macht...
Der Nail Cleaner hört sich ganz interessant an, aber ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass es so etwas ähnliches wie OPI's Bond Aid/Chip Skip, Orly's Primetime*, usw. ist- etwas, was den Nagel zusätzlich dehydriert, ergo die Maniküre länger halten soll. Falls man so etwas aber regelmäßig benutzen will, würde ich euch dringend raten, eure Nägel dannach eine reichhaltigen Pflege zu benutzen, da es auf längere Hinsicht evt. kontraproduktiv für die Nägel ist.


*Ich benutze Orly Primetime, wenn meine Nägel "herumspinnen"- sie schichtenweise abblättern oder ähnliches. Das repariere ich dann mit Nagelkleber, aber näheres könnts ihr in meiner Grundlagen für meine Maniküre nachlesen.


Next up, the Sinners and Saints LE by Manhattan. I'm not sure why, but I'm rarely really loving LE's be Manhattan. It might be that they mostly release make-up related stuff and not that many nail polishes, so I'm mostly "meh" about their LE's.
I found two "versions" of this display, but it looks like they're basicly the same.



Als nächstes die Sinners and Saints Le von Manhattan. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wieso ich die LE's von Manhattan nicht ganz so mag. Es könnte daran liegen, dass sie meist viele Make-Up Produkte rausbringen und recht wenige Nagellacke- davon kauf ich meist sehr wenige etwas und widme mich da eher anderen Sachen.
Ich hab zwei Versionen vom Aufsteller gefunden, aber sie scheinen im Grunde genommen diesselben zu sein.

And last but not least, another LE by Manhattan called Liquid Metals. This one does have nail polishes in it but they seemed quite boring to me, so left without buying anything.

Und als letztes noch die Liquid Metals LE von Manhattan. Diese hat zwar schon Nagellacke, aber die waren recht uninteressant für mich, da sie nicht in mein Beuteschema passen.

New displays I stumbled upon

Here some new displays I stumbled upon- sorry about the quality of the pictures, I forgot my camera at home and only had my cell-phone with me.

First up, the Glam Session limited edition by Alessandro. I didn't found any press-material about it but I knew this was a new LE coming out because I saw some pictures of it on Candy Glaze's blog.

Hier ein paar Displays von limitierten Editionen, die ich in letzter Zeit gesehn hab- es tut mir leid wegen der Qualität der Bilder, ich hab meine Kamera vergessen und hatte nur mein Handy mit.


Die Glam Session LE von Alessandro war mir noch recht unbekannt, bis ich die Bilder vom Display auf Candy Glaze's Blog sah. Es gab davor keine Presse-Mittelung(en) oder sonstiges- bis vor wenigen Tagen es dann endlich eine rausgekommen ist, als ich dannach bei der berühmten Suchmanschine gesucht hab. 

Next up, the Las Vegas LE by Catrice. The last LE (Big City Life) caused quite some fuzz- it came out about a month after it's supposed to. Only a bunch of shops who have a Catrice counter were going to get the LE (a list was posted by a german blogger, not to mention most displays which were put out are probably empty).
Anyway, the Las Vegas LE is quite glittery- there's a highlighter spray (gold shimmer), but the polishes didn't wow me so I left without buying anything.
Sadly, I was to late and the display was almost empty, but it will be released at out local DM drugstores, so I'll show you a picture with a full display when I see it.

Als nächstes die Las Vegas LE von Catrice. Die letzte LE(Big City Life) hat ja schon einiges an negativen Eindrücken hinterlassen- sie wurde ca. einen ganzen Monat später als angekündigt rausgestellt bzw. verkauft. Nur eine handvoll Läden haben diese LE überhaupt bekommen (es wurde eine Liste von einer deutschen Bloggerin gepostet, aber ich bezweifle, dass die angegeben Läden überhaupt noch etwas haben).
 Nunja, die Las Vegas LE ist ziemlich glitzrig- aber ich hab im Endeffekt nichts mitgenommen, weil nichts in mein Beuteschema passte. Leider war ich ein bisschen zu spät dran, als ich das Display entdeckte und es war schon fast leer, aber es wird auch im DM erhältlich sein und ich werd die Bilder vom vollen Display nachreichen.

The new Catrice display, an Essence LE and a blast from the past

I found the new Catrice display today and was really excited to see the new things they've released. They've re-arranged their whole display and to me it looks more well arranged than it was.

I heard that there were different versions of their polish called Run Forest Run!, so I found these two

Yeah, the two different versions of RFR!- on the left, the old version, the new one on the right. I get it that some batches might have very slight differences, but turning a dark green into a light green (which now looks a lot like Sold Out Forever now)
And while I was at the store who also has the bigger Essence display, I saw their new LE

I only got the blue/blurple polish and the lighter color changing lipgloss, the rest was kinda meh to me.
They also had part of the new nail-art-stickers

And lastly, here's a little blast from the past. While I was cleaning out my stash  for my blog sale (btw. there's still plenty left ;)) I found this:

These are the "silk" wraps before they've actually released the ones made out of fabric. The nail repair pads are made out of plastic and have a lot in common with clear labelling stickers. I'm not sure when exactly I got them, it was around 2006, but I'm not completly sure.

I can still remember trying 3 or 4 of these and thinking that these were a complete waste of money because they are wrinkle-city and can be peeled off in a few hours after applying them.
And here's the actuall wraps- it's hard to photograph, but I think you get the idea.

Two LE displays and a little haul

I found those two displays recently before New Years Eve but didn't got around posting it. Essence's Blaock and White Limited Edition is all about black and white. The things didn't wow me that much and I doubted that the high-anticipated "holo-topcoat" was really one . And it really wasn't a holo-topcoat, more of a layering duo-chrome.

 Next up is Catrice's Urban Baroque Limited Edition. The colors didn't wow me so I didn't  buy anything. I was tempted to buy the Illuminating powder but only buying it because of the packaging isn't that good.

And a little haul- I found some of the new Essence Image Plates (which will replace the old ones). One individual one and one which was in the stampy set. Oh and a Minnie-Mouse polish (I would love if they'd do some with Daisy or Donald Duck because I love them) There was pink/nude-ish color too but my stash storage is about to explode so I only bought the red one.
