Some more display pictures (long post)

I found a few displays with limited editions while I was searching for the new Catrice LE (Million Styles). While I didn't find it, I did find a few others.

I found another Alessandro display. The limited edition is called Metallic Crash. It's another crackle collection, this time with "metallic crackles". A set contains a white base, a crackle polish and a top coat- each bottle contains 5ml and retails for 14.95€ (at the Müller store).
This is the third LE display from Alessandro for this month and somehow I'm not liking it. So many limited editions in such a short time are overwhelming and if you would really like to buy something from it, you'd have to stalk your stores in order to get it.

Ich hab wieder ein paar Aufsteller von limitierten Editionen gefunden, als ich auf der Suche nach der neuen LE von Catrice (Million Styles) war. Diese hab ich leider nicht gefunden, aber dafür ein paar andere Aufsteller, die euch interessieren könnten.

Im Müller bin ich über einen weiteren Alessandro Aufsteller gestolpert. Es ist eine weitere Kollektion mit Crackle-Lacken, dieses mal sind es welche mit einem metallic-Finish. Ein Set besteht aus einem weißen Unterlack, einem Crackle-Lack und einem Überlack mit je 5ml und kostet jeweils 14,95€ beim Müller (Preise könnten ggf. in anderen Läden höher/niedriger sein).
Das ist nun die dritte limitierte Edition von Alessandro für diesen Monat und finde, dass es zu viel des Guten ist. So viele LEs in einer kurzen Zeit sind überwältigend und wenn man wirklich etwas von einer davon kaufen will, muss man immer wieder nachschauen, ob es sie schon gibt, was auf die Dauer wirklich ermüdend wird.

Next up is a brand I mostly overlook because their products often don't appeal to me when I look at their display. They do have a few nice things but not that special that I would buy them right away.
Anyway, Misslyn released a new limited edition called Peacock and apparently the SA put some of the polishes into the wrong display. The polishes caught my eye (or shall I say Good Lack, Nails eyes, when we were at the Müller drugstore together) and snapped a picture of the display without realizing that the polishes were put into the wrong display.
In the display is a Chanel Peridot dupe with the number 722 called Chameleon, more on that, later on.
Each nail polish retails for 4,95€ at the Müller drugstore.

Als nächstes eine Marke, wo ich die meiste Zeit meist nur vorbei gehe, weil die Produkte, die sie anbieten, mich meist nicht ansprechen, wenn bei der Theke vorbei gehe. Es gibt zwar ein paar Sachen, die nett ausschauen, aber nichts weltbewegendes oder was ich unbedingt kaufen muss.
Nunja, Misslyn hat vor kurzem die limitierte Edition namens Peacock rausgebracht und es scheint so, als hätte die Verkäuferin/der Verkäufer die Nagellacke ins falsche Display reingetan. Die Nagellacke fielen mir Good Lack, Nail gleich auf, als wir zusammen beim Müller waren und hab ohne zu überlegen ein Bild vom Aufsteller gemacht.
Im Aufsteller gibt es einen Chanel Peridot Dupe mit der Nummer 722 und heißt Chameleon, aber mehr dazu später im Beitrag. 
Die Lacke kosten je 4,95€ beim Müller.

And the last display picture in this post is a new limited edition by Artdeco called Magic Shine. It contains ten nail polishes and four lipsticks.The colors seemed quite boring to me as I'm not in their main target group. The only intresting thing from there are two duochrome polishes and one of them is really close to the infamous Chanel Peridot.
Each nail polish retails for 7,39€ and the lip sticks are 13,49€ at the Müller drugstore. 


Das letzte Aufsteller-Bild im Post ist die neue LE von Artdeco mit dem Namen Magic Shine. Es sind zehn Nagellacke und vier Lippenstifte drinnen enthalten. Die Farben sind meiner Meinung nach ziemlich langweilig, da ich nicht die richtige Zielgruppe dafür bin. Das einzige, was ich interessant fand, waren zwei duochrome Lacke und einer ist dem Chanel Peridot zum verwechseln ähnlich. 
Ein Nagellack kostet 7,39€ und die Lippenstifte je 13,49€ beim Müller.

As I hinted earlier, there seem to be a lot of Peridot dupes/dupe-ish colors and I was able to compare (most of) the bottles next to each other.

Wie ich vorhin schon kurz drauf angespielt habe, scheint es in letzter Zeit sehr viele Lacke zu geben, die große Ähnlichkeit mit dem sagenumwobenen Peridot von Chanel haben. Ich hab die meisten davon in den Flaschen nebeneinander abfotografiert, um zu schauen, wie ähnlich sie sich sind.

As you can see, the base color in Artdeco #226 is more copper-y compared to Artdeco #227.

Wie ihr sehen könnts, ist die Grundfarbe vom 266 wärmer als die von 227. 

In the picture below, you can see that I  compared 227 with Catrice's Genius in a Bottle(GiaB). Like Artdeco #226, the base color in GiaB is warmer than #227.

Im unteren Bild seht ihr 227 im Vergleich mit Genius in a Bottle(GiaB) von Catrice. GiaB ist, wie Artdeco Nummer 226, im Grundton wärmer als 227.

And a little group shot- from left to right: Catrice GiaB, Artdeco 227, Chanel Peridot, Artdeco 226. You can see that Artdeco 227 is the closest to Peridot whereas the other two aren't close to "the original".

And last but not least, a group show with Misslyn #722 Chameleon, Chanel Peridot and Artdeco #227, featuring Good Lack, Nail's Hand ;).
This picture is not the best but I could not tell a difference between the three of them. It might look like that Artdeco #227 is a tad darker in the bottle but in person I wasn't able to spot a difference. The different bottle shapes might make it harder to compare as some have a thicker/thinner glass or are more rounded so you can see the duochrome better.

Und zu guter Letzt, ein Bild mit Misslyn 772 Chameleon, Chanel Peridot und Artdeco 227, alle drei in der Hand von Good Lack, Nail. 
Das Bild ist zwar nicht das beste, aber ich konnte bei den drei in Wirklichkeit keinen Unterschied erkennen. Es schaut auf den Bildern so aus, als wäre der Artdeco einen Tick dünkler in der Flasche, nur war der in Wirklichkeit nicht sichtbar. Der Untschied der verschiedenen Flaschen und die Form machts ein wenig schwierig, wirklich 1:1 zu wissen, ob sie Dupes sind oder nicht.

A little peek into "my" drugstores...

I stumbled upon a few drugstore displays here recently and wanted to share them with you.

First up, two Alessandro displays. The first one (on the left) is a LE display called "Track Me". I didn't found many information of it. Tough, I have to admit, Alessandro is a brand, which is not covered that well on the blogs I read.
Anyway, most of the polishes seemed quite boring but there is a duochrome in there called Clubbing Reflection, which looked quite intresting for duochrome-lovers ;). It shifts from light green to a purple-ish copper/brown (a hint of the Chanel Paradoxal purple). All of the bottles are mini-sized, which means they only contain 5ml (0,18 fl. oz.) each and cost 4,95€ at the Müller Store.
Gejba from Parokeets has some swatches of a few shades from the LE if you're intrested :).

The display on the right is a display full of crackle polishes. It's great to see a display full with crackle polishes but sorry, you're a really late to the party, now that most people aren't looking for them anymore ( at least I am!).
Some of colors are something we have seen before from other brands- black and white. The other, more unusuall colors were light brown, pink, orange and warm red tone.
It looks like they did two versions of crackles if you take a closer look at the bottles. As far as I know, there are no indications on the display itself that these are part of an limited addition but it looks like they are as I haven't spotted them in their perm display.
These are full-sized bottles (at least for european standards), which means they contain 10ml. One bottles retails for ~11,95€ at the Müller Store.

Ich hab wieder einige Aufsteller gefunden und wollte sie euch nicht vorenthalten.


Als erstes, zwei Aufsteller von Alessandro. Das erste (links im Bild) ist eine LE mit dem Namen "Track Me". Ich hab davon noch nicht viel gelesen, was vielleicht daran liegt, dass Alessandro eher eine Marke ist, von der ich nicht sehr viel auf anderen Blogs lese.
Die meisten Lacke sahen recht langweilig aus, aber es gibt einen duochrome Lack, "Clubbing Reflection". Er schaut echt toll aus und wenn man duochrome Lacke toll findet, würde dieser sicherlich ein neues zu Hause finden ;). Die Farbe changiert Hellgrün und einem Kupferton/lila angehauchten Braun(erinnert mich sehr sehr schwach an den Chanel Paradoxal-Ton). Alle Nagellacke sind in kleinen 5ml Flaschen und kosten je 4,95€ (ich hab den Aufsteller beim Müller entdeckt, könnte sein, dass sie in anderen Läden andere Preise haben).

Das Display rechts ist ein Aufsteller voller Crackle Lacken. Es ist zwar schön, dass sie einen Aufsteller voller Crackle Lacken widmen, aber da sind sie ja schon ein bisschen spät dran. Ich hab dem Aufsteller keine große Beachtung geschenkt, weil ich solche Lacke schon nicht mehr sehen kann, weil die ganze "Flut/Hype" solcher Lacke  meiner Meinung nach ja schon längst vorbei ist.
Es sind ein paar Farben dabei, die es schon (teilweise) günstiger von anderen Firmen gibt wie Schwarz und Weiß. Die anderen waren recht "außergewöhnlich"- Hellbraun, Rosa und ein warmer Rotton.
Es schaut so aus, als hätten sie zwei Versionen der Crackle Lacke gemacht, wenn man sich den Stiehl der Flasche näher anschaut. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es eine limierte Edition ist, aber es schaut dannach aus, weil ich sie noch nicht im Regal des permanenten Sortiments gesehen habe.
Die Lacke sind in den großen, 10ml großen Flaschen abgefüllt und kosten jeweils ~11,95€ beim Müller.

New displays I stumbled upon

Here some new displays I stumbled upon- sorry about the quality of the pictures, I forgot my camera at home and only had my cell-phone with me.

First up, the Glam Session limited edition by Alessandro. I didn't found any press-material about it but I knew this was a new LE coming out because I saw some pictures of it on Candy Glaze's blog.

Hier ein paar Displays von limitierten Editionen, die ich in letzter Zeit gesehn hab- es tut mir leid wegen der Qualität der Bilder, ich hab meine Kamera vergessen und hatte nur mein Handy mit.


Die Glam Session LE von Alessandro war mir noch recht unbekannt, bis ich die Bilder vom Display auf Candy Glaze's Blog sah. Es gab davor keine Presse-Mittelung(en) oder sonstiges- bis vor wenigen Tagen es dann endlich eine rausgekommen ist, als ich dannach bei der berühmten Suchmanschine gesucht hab. 

Next up, the Las Vegas LE by Catrice. The last LE (Big City Life) caused quite some fuzz- it came out about a month after it's supposed to. Only a bunch of shops who have a Catrice counter were going to get the LE (a list was posted by a german blogger, not to mention most displays which were put out are probably empty).
Anyway, the Las Vegas LE is quite glittery- there's a highlighter spray (gold shimmer), but the polishes didn't wow me so I left without buying anything.
Sadly, I was to late and the display was almost empty, but it will be released at out local DM drugstores, so I'll show you a picture with a full display when I see it.

Als nächstes die Las Vegas LE von Catrice. Die letzte LE(Big City Life) hat ja schon einiges an negativen Eindrücken hinterlassen- sie wurde ca. einen ganzen Monat später als angekündigt rausgestellt bzw. verkauft. Nur eine handvoll Läden haben diese LE überhaupt bekommen (es wurde eine Liste von einer deutschen Bloggerin gepostet, aber ich bezweifle, dass die angegeben Läden überhaupt noch etwas haben).
 Nunja, die Las Vegas LE ist ziemlich glitzrig- aber ich hab im Endeffekt nichts mitgenommen, weil nichts in mein Beuteschema passte. Leider war ich ein bisschen zu spät dran, als ich das Display entdeckte und es war schon fast leer, aber es wird auch im DM erhältlich sein und ich werd die Bilder vom vollen Display nachreichen.

I stumbled upon some new displays and I thought I'd share them with you guys:

First up, two Alessandro Limited Editions:

Ich hab in der letzten Zeit folgende Displays gesehn und sie für euch fotographiert:

Zuallererst, zwei Alessandro Aufsteller:

On the left side we have a Moon Manicure set- in my opinion it's way to much money for something you can basicly do without paying that much money. Here is a great tutorial from nihrida .
On the right side I found the new Croco Glam- Set. I think the SA put the wrong price tag in because when I went to another Müller store which had the same display, it only costs €14,95. It's a diffenrent type of a crackle polish but I have enough crackle polishes at the moment and didn't even pick it up during their -25% off make-up products.

Auf der linken Seite ist es ein Moon Manicure Set- meiner Meinung nach ist es viel zu überteuert, dafür, dass man es auch selber einfach nachmachen kann. Hier gibts eine tolle (englische) Anleitung von nihrida. 
Rechts ist es das Croco Glam-Set. Ich vermute, dass die VerkäferIn einen Druckfehler beim Preisschild hat- ich war kurz dannach noch bei einem anderen Müller, der das gleiche Set für nur €14,95 hatte. Es ist eine andere Art von Crackle-Lacken, aber da ich mehr als genug Crackle-Lacke daheim hab, hab ich nichts gekauft, obwohl es zu der Zeit -25% auf Make-up beim Müller gab.

After a long search I finally found the Catrice Big City Life LE display. They were suppose to release it at the beginning of this month but I guess there were some difficulties somewhere that they had to beginn shipping late.
Nach der langen Warterei und Suche hab ich nun endlich die Catrice Big City Life LE gesichtet. Sie sollte es eigentlich schon anfang des Montas geben, aber ich glaube, dass es ein paar Probleme irgendwo auf dem Weg gab, weshalb sie so spät erst ausgeliefert wurde.

I wanted to buy all of it because of the name of the cities (New York, Berlin, London and Sydney) because I've been to all but one- London. But my conscience and my wallet convinced me otherwise and I "only" got the NYC palette and the NYC nail polish- they even printed the skyline from the cities on the nail polish bottles!

Ich wollte zuerst alles wegen den Namen (New York, Berlin, London und Sydney) kaufen, weil ich schon in allen der genannten Städte war, bis auf London.  Mein Gewissen und mein Geldbörserl haben aber dann doch gesiegt und ich hab "nur" die NYC Palette und den NYC Nagellack gekauft. Sie haben sogar die Skyline von den jeweiligen Städten auf die Nagellackflaschen gedruckt!

So here are two new displays I recently saw, first up, the new Alessandro display:

Hier ein paar Bilder von den neuen Sachen, die ich in der letzten Zeit gesehn hab:

What I like about it, is that the display looks nice and clean, a lot of "safe" colors (aka red, neutrals& pinks). And the downside (in my opinion): they put the handle into the display but if there are people out there who test the polish first, then don't screw the lid on right, I can see this will be a mess (polish everywhere on the display, etc.).

Was ich daran mag, ist, dass es wirklich schön ordentlich und "sauber"(im Sinne von hochwertig) ausschaut, aber dennoch ein Haufen Farben dabei sind, die es en masse überrall gibt (Rottöne, Pinke Lacke und Neutrale Farben).
Aber einen Nachteil hats meiner Meinung nach: man steckt den Stiel der Flasche ind die "Löcher" rein. Es wird dann warscheinlich Menschen geben, die, wenn sie den Nagellack testen, den Deckel nicht gescheit zuschrauben und dann einfach so zurücklegen, was eine Schweinerei ergibt (Nagellack überall, wo man sichs nur vorstellen kann).

And the new Catrice Limited Edition, called "Out of Space". Not sure what to think of this LE, it just doesn't fit to the season (a LE with mostly dark colors in summer- hmmm).

Und zu guter letzt die neue limitierte Edition von Catrice, "Out of Space". Ich bin mir noch nicht ganz sicher, was ich davon halten soll, sie passt nicht ganz zur Jahreszeit (eine LE mit meist dunklen Farben im Sommer-hmm)

Some new displays...

I went on my lookout for new LE displays and saw these.

Bei meiner Le-"Jagd hab ich folgende displays gesichtet.

Alessandro realeased another bunch of Crackle polishes. This time, a black, (brown?), orange and hot pink one. All of those come with a "base" color and a topcoat. I'm not sure about the price, but I think it's around 10-12€ (~14-17US$).

Alessandro hat nun ein paar weitere Crackle Lacke rausgebracht. Dieses mal sind es die Farben schwarz, (braun?),  Orange und Pink. Alle haben einen farbigen Unterlack und einen Überlack. Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, wieviel sie genau kosten, ich schätz mal so um die 10-12€.

And I also saw this cardboard display. It's a Cooperation from Manhattan with Buffalo. Buffalo is a shoe company and it looks like they are also having a giveaway where you can win a pair of Buffalos (pumps?) if you enter. I wasn't really wowed by the nail polishes but I bought the Beige Ballerina eyeshadow palette.

Ich hab auch einen Papp-Aufsteller von Manhattan gesehn. Diese LE ist in Kooperation mit Buffalo. Buffalo stellt hauptsächlich Schuhe her and es schaut so aus, als könnte man bei einem Gewinnspiel ein paar Schuhe (Pumps?) von Buffalo gewinnen. Die Lacke sprachen mich nicht wirklich an und ich hab nur die Beige Ballerina Palette mitgenommen.

My German readers might know that they are discontinuing Nivea Cosmetics in Germany (and Germany only, Austria still has them at the DM drugstore). So it was only a matter of time which other company takes its display place. It's a (new?) company called Misslyn. I've showed you the polish display here before.
What I really like about them is that they carry a nail polish thinner. Unlike some other countries (for example the US) we don't have many choices for nail polish thinners, only two companies here (P2 and Artdeco) carry them and either they aren't available here anymore (P2) or are $$$ (Artdeco).
The price range is between high-end and cheaper drugstore brands, around 5€ for a bottle of polish, not sure about their make-up, but it's in the same price range.

Meine Deutschen LeserInnen wissen vielleicht schon, dass es von Nivea in Deutschland keine Dekorative Kosmetik mehr gibt (es wird sie nach wie vor noch in Östererich geben, aber da auch nur mehr noch beim DM). Also war es nur mehr noch eine Frage der Zeit, welche Firma den Platz vom Regal einnimmt. Es ist die (neue?) Firma namens Misslyn. Ich hab euch ja schon hier das Nagellack-display gezeigt. 
Was ich von Misslyn sehr löblich finde, ist, dass sie auch einen Nagellackverdünner haben. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Ländern (z.B.  USA) haben wir nicht eine große Auswahl an Nagellackverdünnern. Nur zwei Firmen (P2 und Artdeco) haben ihn im Programm und entweder sind sie hier in Wien/Östererich nicht mehr erhältlich (P2) oder sehr teuer (Artdeco). 
Die Preisklasse von Misslyn ist im mittleren Bereich  (ca. Manhattan). Billiger als Chanel und co, aber ein wenig teurer als Essence oder andere Drogerie-Eigenmarken.

And last but not least, the new S-he polishes. They've revamped the whole line (makeup and other misc. tools like files,...) and finally came back with a whole new look.
The bottles are square-shaped now.They use a kind of Lego-system and you can stack a single eyeshadow on a nail polish handle or stack one on an eyeshadow quad (I hope you know what I mean, fellow Viennese blogger, Chinda-Chan has some pictures of the whole display)

Und zu guter Letzt, das neue Display für die S-He Nagellacke. Sie haben das ganze Sortiment (von Make-up bis hin zu anderen Sachen wie Nagelfeilen,..) umgestellt und sind nun endlich mit einem ganz neuen Look wieder da.
Die Flaschen sind jetzt viereckig und man kann die Mono-Lidschatten auf eine Nagelackflasche oben drauf stecken, wie ein Lego-Baustein. Man kanns auch auf ein Lidschatten- quad oben draufstecken, die Kombinationen sind endlos. (Ich hoffe, ihr wisst, was ich meine, die liebe China-Chan hat ein paar Bilder mehr gemacht, falls ihr euch ein Bild davon machen wollts)

Alessandro 263 and CND Teal Sparkle

Don't you dislike it when a company just lables their polishes with numbers? I do and Alessandro is one amongst them. Anyway, Alessandro #263 is a gorgeous black-in-low-lightning navy blue. It's hard to see the actual color in any other lights than direct sunlight because it's so dark. So I decided to layer an accent nail wiht CND's Teal Sparkle. #263 was opaque with 2 thicker coats and was ok to work with- nothing to exciting or difficult.
Teal Sparkle was a tad thicker formula-wise but that's not really an issue when you paint your nails with it.

Some recent displays and a paradoxal fever

Hey there :)

I recently spotted a few new or new to me displays and tought that I'd share them with you.

First up, the new Alessandro crackle polishes called "Royal Crash". Yeah, you've seen right, Alessandro jumped on the Crackle-wagon and I somehow have the feeling there are a lot of companies out there who got those. The set contains a base color (gold or silver, a black crackle and a topcoat, all for ~15€)

Next up, two other Alessandro displays, one from their new Dark Secret LE  and an (maybe) older one called Hypnotic (looks like a Chanel Particulière dupe to me ;) )

Last, but not least, two Artdeco displays- a huge one called Color Masterpiece and one containing another (Chanel) dupe (called Mystery Collection).

I really liked #123 and #127 but having a lot of blues and purples I might have dupes or similar shades (plus I didn't want to spend that much if I have something similar in my stash already).

I mentioned the "paradoxal fever" in my title- let's take a closer look to Artdeco #145 of their Mystery Collection:

I took the Chanel Paradoxal testerbottle and compared it to Artdeco #145. I couldn't tell a difference between the two.

Playing around with magnetic polishes

Hey there :)

The other day I was playing around with my magnetic polishes. I bought my (sadly only) bottle of the L'oreal Star Magnets years ago(7?8?) before I got into nail polish. I got the agnes b. one from the sweet Kesha over at Nail Polish Obsession. And if you follow me on Twitter, you might read that I stumbled across the magnetic ones from Alessandro.

All of them are opaque in one coat and you have to work quickly because the pattern might not show up as you hoped (i.e. the contrast is not as strong as you wished,...). Another thing is that you should be carefull with the magnet. You can see in the pictures later, that you'll get polish on the magnet and it'll ruin your manicure.
To avoid this, I'd suggest to place the magnet in a horizontal angle.
About the magnets: I liked the one from Alessandro best- you can adjust the height (or what do you call that?, the picture below shows it) of the magent. The other two are quite the same- but I wish the pattern of the one from L'oreal would be a tad bigger. My other complaint about the magnet is, that the one from L'oreal is that it is fixed and you can't detach it to make it easier to make the pattern.
I know Essence is comming out with some magnetic polishes next month too but I haven't seen/bought them.

Now to the swatches:

Alessandro's Blue Chip (BC) has a purple shimmer wich you can best see in the promo picture and you can see it in the darker stripes of it  at some angles. Magnetic Prune is as the name implides, a prune color. Cuivre Rose (CR) is a warm copper shade.
And lastly, I played around with CR and BC and the other two magnets.

As you can see, it works with different magnets too and somehow I think that the one from Alessandro has the most magnetic particals (or the substance that causes the effect). It may only be that the darker color pops out more.

Alessandro Stilleto No 022 and Nfu.Oh 50

Just a little warning: This post is going to be with a lot of pictures.
I already showed you Alessandro No. 022 and I just wasn't that wowed by the color. So I dug out my Nfu.Oh 50 and wasn't dissapointed with this layering.
I used one coat of Nfu.Oh 50 over the excisting manicure. I tried to capture the different colors of the flakies, they were mostly green and blue.

Alessandro Stilleto No 022

Hey there :)

You may have heard about the brand Alessandro  because they are going to release magnetic polishes in October. Alessandro is a German brand and here in Austria it's sold in the drugstore Müller and Douglas. I really like their LE's with the mini bottles and they've released some kick-ass flakies and duo-chromes.

No. 022 is from their Stilleto line which is supposed to be for "toenails only". The line has 3 shades including this one and there are a few other products for feet too (a foot-cream, etc.)

It didn't had any weird smell, it was the same as any other (B3F) nail polish I have. The polish dried quick but I didn't experience an outstanding shine (or I may have been spoiled with Seche Vite and my other beloved topcoats).

The color is a vibrant light purple. Imagine it less blue-toned because my camera always pictures purples wrong. I used two coats and didn't had any problems. I really like their brush because it was a wider one. The formula was good too :)

In honor of the "great" weather here: Gunmetal/black with silver shimmer comparisons

The weather here was really crappy- windy, raining in the evening and cold as it'll be winter. *grr*
I did these swatches a while ago when  the weather was better than it is now and I had nubbins. The polishes I used are:

• Nubar Dark Castle (one awesome coat)
• Zoya Raven (2 coats)
• H&M Moonless Night (also two coats)
• Alessandro No.279 (Be a Star LE, 2 coats)
• Artdeco* No. 133 (2 coats)

* Artdeco is a German cosmetics brand. 
I applied them in the same order as I wrote above-I didn't had any problems with either of these polishes- neither with their consistency nor the brushes. But I have to admit I love the brushes from Nubar and Artdeco the most- great handle and a wider brush which is soft but not too soft that you get too much laquer on the surounding skin.
Here are some previous swatches of Dark Castle if you missed them.
The color: Raven is the darkest with the slightest shimmer of all of them, next would probably Artdeco, Nubar and H&M. The Alessandro one was the lightest and more a dark silver than a black with shimmer/gunmetal. They only had the silver shimmer and I have to say: I love them, I can't get enough of them and still keep buying them ^^.

Comparison: Golden post (pic heavy)

As you probably wondered why this is an golden post. I've done an comparison of a few gold-colours I have. The polishes I used were: Etude House in BR003, Alessandro No. 297, Nivea No. 72- Pure Gold and China Glaze's Golden Enchatment. As an extra a polish I haven't swatched before: Etude House in Hologram Blue. I won the two Etude House polishes at happyberrynainad's giveaway which I posted a little haul here. I finally got around swatching those. The Alessandro varnish is from their current Limited Edition called "Be a Star"- there were quite a few great mini-polishes & I've got about 4-5 polishes. Among those is a possible dupe for Opi's Merry Midnight/Sasatinnie 1G9 and a (possible) dupe of China Glaze's Ruby Pumps.

- Pure Gold (see how opaque it is? It's great for stamping), one Coat of CG Golden Enchantment and 3 or 4 coats of Etude House's Hologram Blue.
